What is Spirited Economics™?

Spirited Economics™ is the leadership skill of strengthening the energy and spirit of the business teams and using this as the company’s competitive edge. The Spirited Economics™ program measures spirit as a P&L line item. It is a quantifiable operating income and financial asset. The higher the level of the spirit the higher the revenue and the lower the operating costs. The lower the level of spirit the higher the operating costs with less revenue. When business teams bring their spirit to work, they use their talent, courage, self-confidence and determination to deliver great performance – because they want to! Not because they are being held accountable; not because they are afraid of losing their jobs, not because their boss told them they must, not because they are being measured – but because they are inspired and proud to be an integral part of a growing organization that values them for who they are and what they bring to the table.

I know that leaders at all levels are genuinely motivated to make great things happen. They truly want to play a positive role in the achievement of the corporate vision. And yet, in so many cases, something happens within the executive boardroom, as well as from the boardroom to the backroom, that gets in the way of success. What’s gets in the way are leadership behaviors and language that does not connect the business teams to the business goals in an exciting way instead creating the following symptoms:

1. The business teams are not pulling in the same direction.

2. Different directions result in poor decisions– the decisions are not strategically-focused, vision-aligned and, are, therefore, not profitable .

3. The culture does not recruit and retain the best and brightest talent.

4. The company does not deliver on the brand promise and customers go elsewhere.

If you recognize any of these conditions, give me a call and let me show you how you can address these barriers to success. I will show you a powerful and practical way to tap into an asset you already have – the spirit, enthusiasm and energy of the people working in your company.
